Instructor: Molly Stoddard, Instructional Systems Specialist, PWLC. Contact Molly at Molly_Stoddard@fws.gov.

A call to MOSP Volunteers:  Molly would like an MOSP volunteer to come to this event to help with record keeping and specimen handling.  There will likely be new county records and the handling of specimens (acetone soak, envelopes, labels) will be an important part of making sure that these valuable specimens are properly verified and recorded.  The MOSP will provide all supplies for these specimens.  Please contact Molly if you are able to provide this important service.

Warner Nature Center - Those Dazzling Dragonflies

Warner Nature Center is home to dozens of species of dragonflies of all sizes and colors, including some that had never been found in Minnesota until now. Learn where to find these dazzling insects, how to capture them unharmed, photograph and identify them, and then tromp the fields and wetlands with naturalists to get a peek into their world. June is the best month for seeing the most species of dragonflies on the wing in this region. This will be a great family event, bring an insect net if you have one.

$10 per family Friends of Warner / Science Museum members;
$12 per family nonmembers.
